CREATIVE DIRECTOR / MAKER
The adizero was originally designed by master shoe designer Toshiaki Omori. Known for adidas’ most lightweight running shoe, over time the franchise had morphed into more cleated sports. Renowned on the gridiron for being worn an expression of the lightest, fastest players on teams. I imagined a new expression for the franchise, one which leaned more into the visual language of the next-gen American Football player while staying true to Omori-San’s quest to always reduce weight in order to get closer to ‘0’.
